The Carthage church of Christ is a body of believers of the Lord’s Church. We believe the Bible is the Holy Word of God and should be the one and only absolute authority pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). We follow the Great Commission to go throughout the whole world and “make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you” (Matthew 28: 18-20). We are lead by elders of the church whose responsibility is to shepherd the body of Christ with humility and gentleness through love (1 Peter 5: 1-4). As a welcoming group of believers, we express the following attributes, or fruit of the Spirit, in our daily lives: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5: 22-23).

We welcome you to worship with us for Sunday Morning Worship Service, which consists of prayer, a Capella Singing, preaching, and the opportunity to give, and partake of the Lord’s Supper every first day of the week.
